Applications open, displays change, meetings begin. The workspace you arranged this morning has already come apart.

Every desk is a different desk.

Home, an office ultrawide, a laptop on a train. Saved coordinates remember a desk that may no longer exist.

03 · Observe

First, look.

Orvial reads the real displays, applications and windows — and records how much of that it can actually prove.

04 · Cue

Then, a reason to act.

A Scene is requested. A cable is unplugged. Something changes that the workspace is supposed to answer.

05 · Align

Move only what changed.

One logical Scene is resolved against the desk that exists now, and the smallest safe plan is applied to reach it.

06 · Verify

Success is observed, not assumed.

The result is read back from the real workspace. Confirmed, unresolved and unconfirmed stay three different answers.

07 · Another desk

One Scene. Another desk.

The same intent resolves again against an ultrawide and a laptop, without inventing a second workspace to maintain.

When everything falls into place.

Sit down and the workspace is already the one you intended. Nothing to rebuild, nothing to remember.

The common factor is not the profession. It is already knowing where things belong.

Desktop applications do not always behave perfectly. Orvial observes the workspace, makes the required changes and checks the result — and tells you when something failed, fell back or could not be confirmed.

I built Orvial because I kept rebuilding yesterday’s desk.

Move this back. Resize that. Find the window that opened on the wrong display. None of it is difficult, which is exactly why we tolerate it. The coordinates were never the point — the intent was.
